AAA is division of baseball for players in 2^nd and 3^rd grade. Batters try to get on base and advance to home; fielders try to prevent that from happening. AAA develops the primary baseball skills of hitting, running, fielding, and throwing. There are no walks and three strikes. Real baseballs are introduced at this level. Coaches use pitching machines to pitch the ball to the batters. Some interleague play (if available) will have the possibility of kid pitch. This level allows minimally competitive league play for this age level. At the end of regular season there are playoffs to determine the championship of the division.

At this level children are drafted onto teams by coaches, no requests are taken at this level. Evaluations will be held prior to season start.

Equipment

All players will be furnished a Team Jersey, hat, and socks by Bethpage Baseball

Gloves, Bat, and Helmet will be required (not supplied)

Bethpage Baseball furnished equipment will include: Baseballs and bases

Games/Practices - Games will last approximately 90-120 minutes.Games will held weeknights and/or on Saturdays at various times (based on coach availability). Practices will be based on coach availability and are at the discretion of the coach.
