Majors Ball Is for 6th and 7th graders. Youth pitching is throughout the season. Batters try to get on base and advance to home; fielders try to prevent that from happening. This division allows minimally competitive league play. All kids are drafted on teams and get lots of playing time. At the end of regular season there are playoffs to determine the championship of the division.

All kids are drafted onto teams by coaches, no requests are taken at this level. Evaluations will be held prior to season start.

Equipment

All players will be furnished a Team Jersey, hat, and socks by Bethpage Baseball

Gloves, Bat, and Helmet will be required (not supplied)

Bethpage Baseball furnished equipment will include: Balls and Bases

Games/Practices - Games will last approximately 90-120 minutes. Games will held weeknights and on Saturdays at various times (based on coach availability). Practices will be based on coach availability and are at the discretion of the coach.
